Sea Crest is proud to be able to offer financial assistance to members of our school community. In 2006–2007, we were able to offer partial or full assistance to approximately 15% of our student body. We use the calculations provided by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) to allocate as much of our funding as our budget will allow. Families are encouraged to submit their financial statements through SSS by the appropriate deadlines, below.
Financial need should not discourage any family from applying to Sea Crest. While we can not guarantee that we can meet all need, we strive to make Sea Crest a viable option for as many families as possible. We strongly encourage all families in need of financial assistance to apply. You may request a Financial Aid packet from the Office of Admissions. Once you have received your packet, please:
*If the applicant's parents are separated or divorced, the non-custodial parent is also required to fill out a separate PFS, and provide 2005 and 2006 federal income tax returns to the SSS and the Sea Crest Admissions Office by January 9, 2008*.
Financial aid decisions and awards for new students are mailed with admission decisions on March 14, 2008. Families have until March 21, 2008 to accept or decline the financial aid award.
