The science program at Sea Crest School helps students find joy, wonder and excitement as they participate in experiential lessons designed to develop an appreciation for the scientific process and an understanding of the basic concepts of the sciences.
Using a variety of teaching methods, the program provides students with a balanced program covering life, physical, earth and health sciences. It seeks to develop within each student the curiosity and eagerness to question, seek, experiment, observe, predict and draw conclusions; to promote the sense of responsibility for one's own body and our Earth; and to help students gain an appreciation for the role science plays in our everyday life.
